SeaPort NxG is the Navy and Marine Corps' integrated approach to contracting for Professional Support Services (PSS). The electronic procurement of Technical, Engineering, and other professional services represent a key strategy to meeting the Department of Navy (DON) contracting needs. With a broad scope and a large & diverse community of contractors, SeaPort NxG provides an efficient and effective means of contracting for professional support services and enhancing small business participation. SCOPE OF CONTRACT

SeaPort-NxG provides PSS that potentially span the entire spectrum of mission areas and technical capabilities supported by the Department of the Navy (DON) ordering activities. Services within the two categories and twenty-three functional area subcategories identified below may be performed under this contract for new and existing product areas, programs, or missions, which are assigned to these activities during the life of the contract.
The two funcation categories are Engineering Services and Program Management Services. The 23 subcategories span both the DoD acquisition lifecycle and technical requirements and mission areas of ordering activities. Allowable material or products are incidental and in direct support of performed services.
SeaPort-NxG orders may be placed by all waranted Contracting Officers within the DoN and USMC SYSCOMs.
