LICENSE MODEL
PuriFile is offered in several different licensing models:
SINGLE-USER LICENSE
The PuriFile single-user license for Standalone PuriFIle installations is a non-networkable, single machine install of PuriFile. The single-user license includes access to the PuriFile web client, PuriFile Shell Extensions, PuriFile Explorer and the PuriFile Assistants. The single-user license is sold per desktop installation. For customers who have many users, we offer both volume-band discounts as well as the PuriFile enterprise license model.
MULTI-USER LICENSE
The PuriFile mulit-user license is for Client / Server PuriFile installations and is a networkable version of the PuriFile user based license. The client / server license is designed for individually named user accounts to connect to the PuriFile engine. The client / server license has the distinct advantage over the single-user license of centralizing policies and user configuration on one server. The client / server license is sold per server. For customers who have many users, we offer both volume-band discounts as well as the PuriFile enterprise license model.
THREAD LICENSE FOR EMBEDDED PRODUCTS
The PuriFile embedded thread license is intended for software integrators who wish to incorporate PuriFile in their product through application programming interface (API) calls to the PuriFile engine (Embedded Server PuriFIle product) or to utilize PuriFile libraries (Embedded Library PuriFile product) directly in their product. The embedded thread variant of PuriFile is licensed for communication with the third-party product through the software API and is not intended for individually named user accounts. The embedded thread license is sold per instance by number of threads.
EMBEDDED DEVELOPER LICENSE
The PuriFile embedded developer license is intended for software integrators developing with PuriFile. The embedded developer variant of PuriFile is licensed for non-productions use. The embedded developer license is sold per customer.
ENTERPRISE LICENSE
For customers with a user base of more than 1,000, the PuriFile enterprise licensing model allows for client / server and single-user / standalone versions over a set term (usually one to three years). Pricing is based on the approximate number of users and affords customers with a much lower cost-per-license.
LICENSE MODELS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS
We offer other products that require an installation of PuriFile to service requests via the network. The installation of PuriFile can be virtualized and implemented on premise or in the cloud, and can service requests from the PuriFile SharePoint plug-in, PuriFile ICAP, PuriFile File drop and PuriFile Email Integration.
